ORDERING POLICY

 

Mercat Boutique may, in its sole discretion, choose to not process or to cancel your order in certain circumstances. This may occur, for example, when the product or service you wish to purchase is out of stock or has been mispriced, we suspect the request is fraudulent, or in other circumstances Mercat Boutique deems appropriate in its sole discretion. Mercat Boutique also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take steps to verify your identity to process your order. Mercat Boutique will either not charge you or refund the charges for orders that we do not process or cancel.

 

Mercat Boutique attempts to provide accurate descriptions of products and services on the Mercat Boutique. Mercat Boutique does not warrant, however, that the descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.

 

Mercat Boutique strives to provide accurate pricing information regarding the products and services available on the Mercat Boutique. We cannot, however, insure against pricing errors. Mercat Boutique reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to not process or to cancel any orders placed for a product or service whose price was incorrectly posted on the site as a result of an error. If this occurs, Mercat Boutique will notify you by email. In addition, Mercat Boutique reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to correct any error in the stated full retail price.

 

The Mercat Boutique may contain information regarding the availability of merchandise. This information can be used to estimate the likelihood that an item will be shipped immediately after you place your order. Unfortunately, Mercat Boutique cannot guarantee that an item listed as "in stock" will actually ship right away, as inventory can change significantly from day-to-day. In rare cases, a product or service offering may be in stock when a customer places the order, and sold out by the time Mercat Boutique attempts to process the order. Should this happen, Mercat Boutique will notify you by email. Service offerings that are out-of-stock generally are no longer available. If Mercat Boutique determines that a product or service you wish to purchase is no longer available, the item will be cancelled from your order. Mercat Boutique will notify you by email and delete the item from the Mercat Boutique.

 

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER. AMERICAN EXPRESS is currently in process and should be available as a payment method soon.

 

 

SHIPPING POLICY

 

Sales Tax

 

The sales tax quoted at time of checkout is only an estimate. The final total sales tax will be reflected on your invoice and will include state and local taxes, as well as any applicable rebates or fees.

 

Mercat Boutique is currently obligated to collect sales tax in New Jersey. 

 

No sales tax is charged when purchasing e-gift cards; however, purchases paid for with e-gift card credits may be subject to tax.

 

Important Sales Tax Information for Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota Customers: Mercat Boutique, Inc. is not obligated to, and does not, collect Oklahoma, Vermont, or South Dakota sales tax. Your purchase is subject to Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota sales tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. The purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means.  The States of Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota requires Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota purchasers to report all purchases that were not taxed and pay tax on those purchases. The tax may be reported and paid on the individual income tax return or by filing a consumer use tax return.

 

 

Shipping Time

 

Orders selected for next-day shipping that are placed before 3pm ET will ship the same day. If you select next day on a Friday, please be advised that your package will not be delivered until Monday. Our goal is to process and ship your order within 2-5 business days of receipt. For items that are not yet at our warehouse, please allow 2-3 weeks for the item to be processed and shipped. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. This tracking number will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order.

 

 

Shipping Preferences

 

Your default shipping address can be modified from your My Account page. If you have just placed an order, you will have a brief window of 5 minutes to change your shipping address by visiting your My Account page.

 

 

Shipping Rates

 

For items that are in our warehouse, Mercat Boutique offers four shipping options for U.S. domestic orders:

 

  • Economy - $5.95
  • Standard - $7.95
  • Expedited (2-Day) - $15.95
  • Overnight - $24.95

 

Select a shipping option to view the estimated delivery window for your item. Most items will ship via UPS (USPS for PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses). Our Economy option may ship via UPS SurePost (final delivery made by USPS). If you do not want your item shipped with UPS SurePost, we recommend using our Standard shipping method. Oversized or special delivery items may be subject to a Delivery Charge in addition to the above standard shipping rate.

 

These additional delivery charges and shipping upgrade charges may not be eligible for combined, reduced or free shipping offers.

 

 

Shipping Carrier

 

Mercat Boutique ships most orders via UPS. Our Economy option may ship via UPS SurePost (final delivery made by USPS). If you do not want your item shipped with UPS SurePost, we recommend using our Standard shipping method. If you are shipping to a U.S. Post Office Box or military address, Mercat Boutique will ship your order via USPS Priority Mail.

 

 

Undelivered Packages

 

We are not able to reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. All undelivered packages will be processed as a return. Please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping address for an order.
